Utah Argonauts win Stealth rematch 28-9

The Utah Argonauts (3-0) defeated the Utah Stealth 28-9 in a Saturday night rematch at McCarthey Stadium.

“We started off slow, which is becoming a trend for us, but we will fix that and get better,” Utah Argonauts head coach JJ Fayed said.  ”Until the second quarter we did not play how we are capable of playing. We need to play at high level of intensity from the beginning.”

Although the Argonauts started slow against the Stealth, the team was able to capitalize on big plays from both sides of the ball. Defensively, the Argos forced four interceptions and one fumble.

“We did what we always do, fly to the ball and make plays,” Argos linebacker Victor McKenzie said. “We wanted to leave a goose egg on the board and we almost did.” READ MORE
